echamp - design as differentiator
In an industry obsessed with tech specs, EChamp made design its edge. Most electric bikes looked like clunky experiments bolted together in a factory lab. We wanted EChamp to look as clean in a studio loft as it did on a mountain road.
Frames were stripped back, lines simplified, materials chosen not just for function but for feel. Every touchpoint, the geometry, the components, the colourways, were treated like fashion design, not industrial output.
“The goal was to make Echamp desirable even when it’s standing still,” says The Champ Lab. “That’s when you know you’ve moved from product to object of culture.”
By turning design into a differentiator, EChamp could sit in showrooms and exhibitions as confidently as it did in performance demos. Design wasn’t an afterthought; it was the whole point.
